Patient phone calls will usually be returned within 24 hours. In general, the physicians do not take time away from patient office visits to answer phone calls from patients. Return calls will be made after 4:00 PM or as time allows during the day. A charge will be added to your account for questions requiring a review of your chart/history or to phone-in new prescriptions ($25 -$45). This is necessary since professional time is required and because the risk of error is often increased without a visit to and diagnosis by the physician. No charges will be incurred for those calls initiated or requested by our office.

Phone consultations for follow-up appointments can be scheduled during regular office hours for those patients who have difficulty coming to the office. These services will be charged at our hourly rate (click here for rates) and will not be billed to the insurance company since reimbursement is unlikely.
